Youth Hockey Night 2015

The New York Rangers 8th Annual Youth Hockey Night will conclude the 2015 Hockey Weekend in New York celebration as youth hockey players from across the tri-state area will gather at The Garden for the New York Rangers game as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. In celebration of Youth Hockey Night, the New York Rangers will be offering free face painting and a “Make Your Own Hockey Card” experience on the 100 level concourse.  Youth hockey players and teams attending the game are encouraged to wear their jerseys for the chance to be featured on Garden Vision! The evening is highlighted by the presentation of the 8th Annual Emile Francis Award which is awarded in recognition of the sacrifice, dedication, and impact that volunteers have on grassroots development and youth and amateur hockey. This award honors former Rangers Coach and General Manager Emile Francis, who is a longtime supporter of minor hockey and founded the Metropolitan Junior Hockey Association, which was the foundation from which many local amateur hockey associations and leagues were born, and helped launch the careers of Rangers alumni Nick Fotiu and Brian Mullen who are both products of local youth hockey.
