Anisimov's Goal at Philly is Moment of the Week
(Week of April 2-7)

The fans have spoken. Artem Anisimov's April 3 power-play goal against the Flyers, which also drew a double-minor for high-sticking, has been voted the Moment of the Week for the 27th and final week of the 2011-12 regular season. Anisimov's goal, scored during a delayed penalty call, captured 43.5 percent of the online voting from Rangers fans to barely edge Henrik Lundqvist's final save to close out that 5-3 victory at Philadelphia. Ryan Callahan's power-play goal, scored during the penalties drawn by Anisimov for a 4-0 lead over the Flyers, placed third with 16.1 percent of the ballot. Since Moment of the Week is a regular-season-only feature, it will resume in October. Thanks to all who participated in choosing this season's 27 winning moments.

Artie splits the defense, gets hooked, takes a stick to the face and still scores. Raw determination and it helped the Blueshirts clinch home ice.

It was a great goal, and we still managed to get a power play, where we scored. And Artie was fine on the play.
